Ms. McKeddie has been practicing law in Arizona since 2004. She started her legal career as an intern at a small Scottsdale real estate firm. After graduation, a reputable Phoenix law firm immediately hired Ms. McKeddie, where she spent several years working amongst some of the most talented legal professionals in the Phoenix area, gaining experience in virtually all aspects of civil law and litigation.
While she certainly enjoyed her career in "big law," Ms. McKeddie missed the simplicity of working in a small practice, where she could interact with her clients on a more personal level. She therefore decided to open her own practice, working with her husband, Justin Cooley, a trusted colleague and her high school sweetheart.
Ms. McKeddie completed her Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies at Arizona State University, graduating with honors (summa cum laude). She attended law school at California Western School of Law as a Kennedy Scholar, where she enjoyed the unique privilege of personally visiting with Justice Kennedy of the United States Supreme Court. She graduated second in her class, magna cum laude, and served as a writer and editor for the school's International Law Journal and Law Review.
Ms. McKeddie enjoys singing, playing guitar, cooking, and spending time with her husband and their three Labrador Retrievers, Hayley, Henna, and Layla. Hayley is a certified "Therapy Dog," and both Ms. McKeddie and Mr. Cooley enjoy taking Hayley to visit with special needs children. They have both participated in the "Tail Waggin Tutors" program at the Scottsdale Public Library.
